How statement and proof provenance work

The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.

  • Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
  • AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
  • AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.

These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Tamed Euler scheme for a superlinear drift

Definition

Assume AC and the Brownian conventions of Locally Lipschitz Itô SDE on an open state domain on [0,T] with U=Rd. The input is an autonomous drift b:Rd→Rd, diffusion σ:Rd→Rd×m, initial state ξ, and integer N≥1 with h=T/N≤1. Define tn=nh and bh(x)=b(x)1+h∣b(x)∣. Return the grid values, step process, continuous interpolation, and status as follows.

  1. Set Y0=ξ.
  2. For n=0,…,N−1, set ΔWn=Wtn+1−Wtn and Yn+1=Yn+hbh(Yn)+σ(Yn)ΔWn.
  3. Set Yˉt=Yn on [tn,tn+1), with YˉT=YN, and set Yt=Yn+(t−tn)bh(Yn)+σ(Yn)(Wt−Wtn),t∈[tn,tn+1]. The shared endpoint formulas agree with the grid recursion.

If the dimensions, horizon, step count, or finite-valued coefficient inputs are invalid, return invalid-input without a trajectory. Otherwise return success and the sequence. In exact real arithmetic each update is a finite vector expression, and ∣hbh(x)∣≤1, so the finite recursion has no implicit solve or branch failure. The algorithm by itself asserts no moment, stability, or convergence property.

Dependency tree · two levels

7 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
