Alphabeta Math

Terms of Use

These terms govern the Alphabeta Math website and mobile app (together, the service), operated by Prestige Intelligence from Australia. By using the service you agree to them. Reading the library requires no account and no payment, and these terms keep that true.

Last updated 20 August 2026.

The service

Alphabeta Math is a mathematics library: definitions, theorems, proofs, examples and study tools, on the web and in the mobile app. Your bookmarks, notes, study goals and reading positions are stored on your own device, as the privacy policy describes. We work to keep the service available and the content correct, but we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it.

Your account

The mobile app offers an optional sign-in with a Google account. An account is for one person and must be yours. You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in. You can stop using the service at any time, and you can have your account and everything attached to it deleted through the contact form. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

The content and its licence

The mathematical content of the library is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, and the licence page — not this page — governs how you may reuse it. Nothing in these terms narrows what that licence grants. The application, its design, and its name are not covered by that licence.

Fair use of the service

Do not probe, overload or interfere with the service, attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, evade rate limits, or use the forms to send spam or unlawful material. Automated bulk access to the servers is not permitted without asking first — the licence gives generous rights to the content itself, and the contact form is the way to arrange a copy of it.

What you send us

Feedback, issue reports and contact messages may be used to correct and improve the library, credited or not. Send only what you have the right to send, and nothing confidential.

Paid features, when offered

Some app features — such as AI study assistance — may be offered as paid features. Any purchase is made on the website, with the price shown before you pay; the Android app itself sells nothing. You can cancel a subscription at any time, effective at the end of the paid period, and your statutory refund rights are never limited. Paid features may have usage limits, stated where the feature is offered.

AI-generated responses are not part of the verified library and can be wrong, even when they sound confident. They are study assistance, not professional advice, and checking a result before relying on it remains your responsibility. If you upload your own work — such as a proof to be checked — it stays yours; you grant us only the permission needed to process it and return a response, and you must hold the rights to whatever you upload.

No warranty, and our liability

The service is provided as-is. The library's verification process is described honestly on the about page, and it does not make the content error-free. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — nothing, for a free reader. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, under the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
