How statement and proof provenance work

The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.

  • Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
  • AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
  • AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.

These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Relative Deligne product in the braided module 2-category

Definition

Let C be a braided fusion category and let M,N be finite semisimple right C-module categories. A relative Deligne product M⊠CN in Mod⁡(C) means a finite semisimple right C-module category P equipped with an exact bilinear functor b:M×N→P that is balanced over the middle C-action and compatible with the outer right C-action, and is universal among such functors: for every finite semisimple right C-module category D, composition with b gives an equivalence between right C-module functors P→D and exact bilinear middle-balanced right C-module functors M×N→D.

For the balancing convention, a right module category N is regarded as a left module category by X▹n:=n⊙X. Its left module associator (X⊗Y)▹n→X▹(Y▹n) is the composite of n⊙cY,X−1 with the inverse right-module associator. “Balanced” means that b(m⊙X,n)≅b(m,X▹n) naturally in all variables, compatibly with the unit and associativity constraints. This definition fixes the universal property and the braiding convention; it does not assert that a product exists.

5 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
