How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Real and quaternionic bundle K-groups
Definition
For a compact Hausdorff space , use the direct-sum monoid of finite-rank bundles whose rank is locally constant and finite-valued. Equivalently, such a bundle is specified by a finite clopen decomposition of into rank strata and a fixed-rank bundle on each stratum. For real bundles the fixed-rank pieces use the charts of Real and complex topological vector bundles; a right- bundle uses local charts with right--linear transition maps. Let be the group completion of the real-bundle monoid and the group completion of the right--bundle monoid. This permits ranks to vary between connected components. In particular these definitions apply to finite CW complexes. A group-completion element is ; equality means that a bundle exists with for the two differences concerned.
Pullback defines contravariant maps. Real tensor product makes a commutative ring with unit . Tensoring a real bundle with a right- bundle over gives a -module structure on . No internal quaternionic tensor product is asserted.

8 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
