How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Deterministic sample-compression schemes
Definition
Let be a measurable instance space, let have its full discrete sigma-algebra, and give the product sigma-algebra. For each , give its finite product sigma-algebra, with . Let be a nonempty class of measurable functions . For , write , so , and give its discrete sigma-algebra. For , a deterministic sample-compression scheme of size at most consists of a measurable compression map for every , and fixed reconstruction maps for and , all measurable for the stated product and discrete sigma-algebras. If and , write and define ; for , use . The scheme is consistent if, for every , every , and every , this reconstruction satisfies for every . The reconstruction map uses only the ordered selected labeled entries and no other side information; the reconstructed classifier need not belong to .

A measurable function between measurable spaces: a map is measurable when preimages of measurable sets are measurable.

25 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
