How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Unitriangular global basis elements at small rank
Example
At the ambient lower basis in degrees is , , , , , , . The basic labels in these degrees are (not or ). In degree , rows and columns ordered , the full lower transition matrix (column -label, row standard shape) is
Its basic columns are and . All entries lie in , the diagonal is , and off-diagonal entries lie in , with the proved dominance and core bounds. The apparent transpose-conjugation identity holds accidentally for the displayed degrees but is false generally: whereas . The source symmetry concerns the bar transition matrix, not . The ambient bar-fixed lies outside the basic module; no arbitrary bar-fixed combination need lie in one isotypic summand.
Facts & Assumptions
Given: The partition Fock space with its lower global basis, dominance order, and the node actions of the small shapes.
The lower global basis is dominance-unitriangular with off-diagonal coefficients, same-core support and diagonal ; the regular labels are the lower global basis of (The basic representation global basis is unitriangular in the partition basis).
Dominance is the prefix-sum order, conjugation reverses it, and the regular labels are those with part multiplicities (Dominance order on partitions, The regular-partition label convention and the Mullineux crystal involution).
The ordinary node actions on shapes of size are the table of Node actions for partitions of size at most three.
Verification
The degrees . Solving the triangular bar equations degree by degree with the reversal bar: in degree the only correction of is ; in degree the partition is the only shape whose residue multiset forces no correction and receives the correction ; the remaining shapes are bar-fixed. This gives the displayed degree- elements, and the basic labels are the -regular ones, namely , with and non-regular.
The degree-four bar calculation. The finite reversal formula of [F1], at any cutoff longer than four, and straightening give , , , and . Substituting these five formulas, with coefficient bar, verifies the displayed columns , , , and : each is bar fixed with its stated leading residue and coefficients in . Uniqueness in [F1] therefore identifies them with the lower lifts. The basic labels are the regular shapes , and the nonzero positions visibly respect dominance.
The false transpose symmetry. Conjugation of partitions sends and , so the transpose-conjugation equality would require ; but the degree- matrix gives and . Hence the equality fails in general; the source's symmetry statement concerns the bar transition matrix , not the lower matrix .
Conclusion. The displayed elements are the actual lower global basis elements in degrees , their coefficients are integral and dominance-triangular, the basic columns are the regular labels, and the naive transpose symmetry of is refuted by the explicit pair.
