How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Let the scalar field be and let the simple labels be , , and . Define a -linear semisimple category candidate whose objects are finite direct sums of these labels, whose simple-label Hom space is when the labels agree and otherwise, and whose Hom spaces between direct sums are the corresponding finite matrices. Give the simple-label fusion product by
Extend the product bilinearly to direct sums and on morphisms by the induced tensor product of scalar maps. The unit is and the unitors are strict. Fusion spaces are ; each is one-dimensional when the displayed fusion rule allows and is zero otherwise. In every allowed one-dimensional fusion space choose its displayed basis vector. On three simple labels, define the associator in these bases by the matrix , where is the intermediate label in and is the intermediate label in . Set
Every other coefficient is when all four fusion vertices are allowed and when any required fusion vertex is forbidden. Extend each associator linearly over direct sums. The candidate dual of each simple label is itself. For and , take evaluation and coevaluation to be the unit-channel basis maps with coefficient . For , take evaluation and coevaluation to have coefficient in the channel and zero in the channel. This item specifies the data; the separate coherence result checks that they satisfy the fusion-category axioms. No braiding or physical realization is included in this definition.
