How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Finite-spin Dobrushin influence matrix
Definition
Let , let be a finite nonempty set, and put with the -algebra generated by finite-coordinate cylinders. A specification on is a family of probability kernels indexed by finite . It is proper when each kernel leaves every exterior-measurable event fixed, and consistent when for all finite . For , write for its one-site conditional probability vector on , where . For probability vectors on , define their total-variation distance by . The influence coefficient of site on the conditional law at site is
The matrix is the Dobrushin influence matrix of . Its coefficients lie in ; a supremum need not be attained. The Dobrushin row constant is , with value allowed. A common uniform finite influence radius means whenever .

Remarks
The arrow below means that changing spin can change the conditional law at ; its weight is . A length- path from to contributes the product of its edge weights to . The picture fixes this index convention only; proofs use the matrix definitions above.
