How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Normalized SSEP macroscopic fluctuation action
Definition
Fix an integer and let carry normalized product Haar measure , with . Coordinates and time are dimensionless in the diffusive normalization . For set the mobility function . For any finite interval with , let be a scalar density and let be a vector current. Require both fields to be smooth up to the time endpoints and periodic in space, and require that for some , for every . Call admissible when it also satisfies the continuity equation . Define its dimensionless action by
This is the macroscopic fluctuation functional in the stated normalized SSEP coefficient convention. It is a definition of a functional and does not assert a microscopic path-space large-deviation principle or a probability estimate.
