How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Radiation data at fixed retarded time
Definition of the scaled far-field radiation data for the smooth retarded Maxwell branch generated by a source supported in one fixed spatial ball at every time. Uniformity is specified on the unit sphere and on compact retarded-time intervals. The definition asserts no measured radiation, no infinite-time history bound beyond the source conditions of the carrier, and no empirical or statistical claim.
Definition
Let the laboratory frame and SI conventions be those of the framework, and let be a jointly smooth conserved volume source supported in in space at every time, for some . Let be the retarded fields generated by that source. Write , , and . If maps satisfy
uniformly in and in every compact interval as , then and are the electric and magnetic radiation data at fixed retarded time. The scaled fields carry units and , respectively. This definition by itself does not assert that the limits exist.
