How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
ADHM linear data, stability, costability and FI levels
Definition
Fix integers and and equip and with the standard Hermitian inner products , which are conjugate-linear in the first variable. For a linear map between these spaces, its Hermitian adjoint is characterized by ; in the standard bases its matrix is the conjugate transpose. For , define their commutator by . Let
Here is regarded as a real vector space. A framed ADHM linear datum is . The complex and real moment maps are the maps and defined by
The datum is stable if the vectors , with , and , span . It is costable if there is no nonzero subspace of invariant under both and contained in . It is regular if it is stable and costable. The group acts by . Its unitary subgroup is .
Write , and, for real , . Denote the corresponding orbit sets by , and , with quotient topologies when discussing their analytic spaces. A word frame consists of columns obtained by fixed words in applied to fixed standard basis vectors of .
For , write for the coordinate characters and put . Its action is . The compact torus is its subgroup on which all characters have modulus one. The framing representation thus has character and its dual has character .
These are finite-dimensional matrix definitions. They do not assert a real/complex quotient correspondence, a sheaf or ASD identification, or a noncompact pushforward. In particular, positive-FI stability and zero-FI regularity are distinct conditions; neither an endpoint identification nor an ordinary ASD interpretation follows from this definition.
