How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Positive incidence geometry for the coupled Penrose transform
Definition
Let have its unit round metric and the orientation which, on the stereographic chart , is . Put , , and ; in these coordinates the metric is . Define the Wirtinger derivatives on this chart by
These vector fields act on the complexification of the real tangent bundle. Fix the antiunitary right quaternionic structure in these coordinates by
Thus is conjugate-linear, preserves the standard Hermitian norm, and satisfies . Put with this right quaternionic structure, , and define by for each complex line . Its fibres are projective lines . In homogeneous coordinates , the fibre over finite is the line
and the fibre over infinity is . Give the Fubini–Study metric induced by the standard Hermitian metric on , and give , the tautological holomorphic line bundle, its induced Hermitian metric; has the tensor-square metric. On the incidence chart , set , , and . Write for the eigensubbundle of the complexified tangent endomorphism determined by the complex structure. The constant- horizontal complex directions of type are spanned by
They annihilate the displayed holomorphic coordinates and, together with , form a direct local frame of . Define and let be its Fubini–Study orthogonal complement in . The complex alpha-plane at is the two-dimensional complex subspace ; it is also the image under of the span of . These constant- chart lifts project to the same alpha-plane as the global metric-horizontal lifts, although they may differ from them by vertical components. Global horizontal/vertical form decompositions use the Fubini–Study orthogonal splitting; local computations may use the displayed constant- splitting after retaining the resulting frame and normalization factors. The second projective chart gives the same alpha-plane at .

Remarks
The arrows record only the inclusion of a fibre and the restriction of its projection; they fix the domain and codomain of the twistor fibration used above.
