How statement and proof provenance work

The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.

  • Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
  • AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
  • AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.

These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Projective twisting line bundles by coordinate transitions

Definition

For r≥1, let Pr(C) be the set of complex lines in Cr+1, with its quotient complex-manifold structure, and write [Z0:⋯:Zr] for the line through a nonzero vector (Z0,…,Zr). For i∈{0,…,r} set Ui={[Z0:⋯:Zr]:Zi≠0}; its standard coordinates are the ratios Zj/Zi for j≠i. For each integer k, the projective twisting line bundle OPr(k) is obtained by gluing the trivial holomorphic line bundles Ui×C with local frames ei(k) and transition rule ej(k)=(ZjZi)kei(k)on Ui∩Uj. The transition factors are holomorphic and nowhere zero on the overlaps, with gii=1, gij=gji−1, and gijgjℓ=giℓ on every triple overlap; hence they define a holomorphic line bundle. The sheaf OPr(k) assigns to an open set the holomorphic sections of this bundle, and OPr:=OPr(0) is the structure sheaf.
