How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Facts & Assumptions
Given: The directed triangle, identity edge assignment, defining representation, and vertex gauge rule of the finite graph model.
Finite SU(2) graph holonomy model: and the loop product is later-left ordered.
Wilson traces are invariant under vertex gauge transformations: closed-loop Wilson traces are invariant under every vertex gauge assignment.
SU(2) is a compact Hausdorff matrix group: the matrices in form a group under matrix multiplication.
Proof
For every , , so the defining action on preserves its standard inner product; matrix multiplication gives , and the matrix entries vary continuously in the Euclidean matrix topology. Thus each orbit map is continuous and is a strongly continuous finite-dimensional unitary representation as required by the model. The matrix is unitary and has determinant , so ; also and . By [F1], , , and . Thus individual edge matrices change.
Their later-left loop product is , whose defining-representation trace is . The original product is also and has trace ; this concrete calculation agrees with [F2].
Remarks
The directed graph and gauge action are depicted below. The arrows set the multiplication order; the displayed verification is the proof of the trace identity.
