How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
The Rank-One One-Instanton Mass Insertion
A finite formal mass-inserted coefficient on the explicit rank-one, charge-one stable ADHM quotient. It is not a specialization of the adopted U(2) S4 model and makes no continuum path-integral claim.
Example
For the explicit stable scalar ADHM quotient and generic rotation weights with , extend the rotation torus by a flavor circle. Use natural units and assign mass dimension one to the formal rotation weights and additive flavor mass . Let be a dimensionless formal variable marking instanton charge. The unique fixed point has tangent weights , so the charge-one contribution of the top-Chern-class insertion for the inverse flavor line is The diagram shows the unique one-box partition, with the first coordinate horizontal for and the second vertical for . This is a finite formal rank-one calculation only; the adopted S4 postulate in this batch is specifically .

Facts & Assumptions
Given: The explicit scalar quotient with , rotation weights , and formal flavor weight .
The current draft Explicit Rank-One One-Instanton ADHM Quotient has a complete authored local proof: its stable-locus map satisfies the classical geometric quotient conditions, the quotient is with one fixed point and tangent weights , and the Borel-descended top Chern insertion has the stated mass-shifted weight product and charge-one coefficient.
Verification
The unique fixed point and its two tangent weights are the rank-one quotient data in [F1].
The inverse flavor line shifts each tangent weight by , so the insertion numerator is , while the tangent Euler denominator is . Dividing gives the displayed coefficient, and multiplication by records charge one.
