How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Facts & Assumptions
Given: Assume the Axiom of Choice. Let have the centered Gaussian law and covariance matrix in the Statement, and fix .
The Axiom of Choice is the stated hypothesis of the finite Gaussian suppliers. The Axiom of Choice
For every finite list of centered jointly Gaussian linear coordinates, each moment is the finite sum over pairings of covariance factors; this includes singular covariance matrices. Finite Gaussian normalization and Wick moments

Proof
Given: [A1], [F1], [F2], and the finite centered Gaussian vector .
In the formal power-series ring , set . By [F1], a pairing with -self-pairs, -self-pairs, and cross-pairs can occur only when and . The number of such pairings is : choose the cross-indices on each side, match them in ways, then pair the remaining indices on each side. Thus coefficient-by-coefficient . This is an identity of formal series, so no moment-generating-function convergence is assumed.
Multiplying the series in step 1.1 by leaves . By [F2], the coefficient of on the multiplied left side is . The right side has zero coefficient when and coefficient when , giving the claimed formula. For the constant coefficient is , including when .
