How statement and proof provenance work

The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.

  • Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
  • AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
  • AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.

These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Isolated event four-momentum balance

Physical scope

Scoped reuse in relativistic-particle mechanics of the existing special-relativity isolated-collision postulate, for finite complete event data in flat Minkowski spacetime; no collision occurrence, mechanism, probability, or rate is asserted.

Postulate

For the relativistic-particle-mechanics collision configurations of Finite event collisions and observer quantities, adopt the isolated-collision balance already stated in clause (iii) of Adopted massive-particle momentum, observer measurement and isolated-collision conservation: when the event is isolated and the incoming and outgoing lists contain every leg, Qin=Qout. This local postulate records the exact collision interface used on this page; it is a scoped reuse of the existing adopted model assumption, not a second independent conservation assumption.

The balance is an adopted physical premise. It does not show that any specified reaction occurs and supplies no interaction mechanism, selection rule, probability, cross section, or amplitude. The cited treatments motivate and explain the model formulation; they do not turn the postulate into a deductive theorem or a report of an observed collision.
