How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Universal thermal-equilibrium range T5
The adopted universal range condition for thermal-equilibrium partners in the declared contact family; it is an operational assumption, not an empirical thermometer calibration.
Postulate
Adopt T5 (universal thermal-equilibrium range): for every ordered pair of simple systems , each state of , and every work-coordinate point in the projection of the state domain of , there is some state of with , using Thermal joins and thermal equivalence.
This is a quantified existence assumption for a thermal-equilibrium partner at each permitted work coordinate. It does not define a numerical temperature, assert that all systems possess the same temperature range as a real apparatus, or supply a calibration map and its uncertainty.
