How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Charged-dust current and stress balance
A local deduction for smooth charged-dust fields satisfying the independently adopted number-continuity and Lorentz-force equations. It does not construct dust solutions, prove avoidance of caustics, or extend to singular particles.
Statement
For the smooth charged-dust model of Restricted smooth charged-dust model, with constant and , current , and stress , every configuration satisfying its adopted closure obeys
This is a model deduction from the continuum equations, not a consequence of the external test-particle theorem and not a claim that a smooth continuum solution exists.
Facts & Assumptions
Given: A smooth metric-compatible connection, smooth fields , , and , constants and , and the dust equations of Restricted smooth charged-dust model.
Restricted smooth charged-dust model: , , , and .
The fields are smooth on the open domain and the charge and mass parameters are constant, so the covariant product rule applies without distributional terms.
Proof
Proof technique: expand the two divergences by the product rule and substitute the adopted dust equations.
Since is constant, the product rule and [F1] give .
Differentiate the stress tensor in [F1]: . The first term is zero by number continuity, and by definition.
Use the adopted force equation in [F1] in step 2.1: , because and . This is the claimed matter stress exchange.
