How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Definition
Assume Countable Choice. Let be Hilbert spaces over the same field , let be open, and let be continuously Fréchet differentiable over : for each , is bounded -linear, the map is operator-norm continuous, and where ranges over increments in . In the complex case the derivative is complex-linear and the limit uses complex increments. Inputs are anchor and initial point , datum , noise bound , discrepancy factor , finite update cap , and . For , first check ; otherwise return . The output of every return is a tuple . Use an exact-call interface with these outcomes: an evaluation call returns either with the exact value or ; a normal-solve call returns either with the exact solution of the displayed equation or . The interface never returns an incorrect value. If the evaluation call returns , return . If the evaluation returns and , return . If , return . Otherwise set , , and call the normal solver on whose exact solution exists uniquely by The shifted Hilbert-space normal operator is invertible with inverse norm at most . If the solve call returns , return ; otherwise set . The mathematical evaluation and solve succeed because is defined on and the shifted normal equation has a unique solution; the failure outcomes record only a finite implementation's inability to return the exact value or certify the exact solve. No success or convergence claim is attached to these failure statuses.
The mathematical extended recurrence means the same exact updates with the discrepancy and finite-cap tests suppressed, for as long as the states lie in . It is used only for comparison in proofs. A finite actual run follows its prefix and stops at its first test crossing. This anchored update is distinct from the retained unanchored Levenberg-Marquardt step; its extra term is .

34 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
