How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Finite-budget positive-tube forward Euler loop
Definition
Fix the periodic SBP data and semidiscrete vector field of Periodic diagonal-norm SBP compressible viscous scheme. Let be a specified compact set, let the initial nodal vector satisfy for every node, let , and let be a finite step budget. The algorithm returns a nodal vector, a status, and an accepted-step count.
-
For , compute the candidate
-
If for every node , accept it by setting and continue.
-
If any candidate node lies outside , return immediately. Here is the last accepted vector and is the number of accepted steps; the rejected candidate is the one-based stage .
-
If all candidates are accepted, return . For , return .
The membership test is applied nodewise to the compact positive-state tube. A returned left_positive_tube status records a failed candidate and makes no claim that the prescribed step budget was completed.

Dependency tree · two levels
5 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
