How statement and proof provenance work

The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.

  • Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
  • AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
  • AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.

These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Finite masked-diffusion generative model

Definition

For the finite masking state space S=(V∪{m})L and reverse kernels Pj of the finite-grid sampler, put a point-mass prior at ZN=mL. Define a decoder D from S to VL by D(x∣z0)=1{x=z0} when z0∈VL, and D(x∣z0)=∣V∣−L for every x∈VL when z0∉VL. The finite joint mass of a clean output x∈VL and latent path (z0,…,zN)∈SN+1 is p(x,z0,…,zN)=1{zN=mL}(∏j=1NPj(zj,zj−1))D(x∣z0). Thus reverse step j maps the state at level j to the state at level j−1; the decoder is deterministic on clean endpoint states and is explicitly normalized on all other states.

4 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
