How statement and proof provenance work

The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.

  • Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
  • AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
  • AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.

These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Fourier neural-operator layer

Definition

Let Td=(R/Z)d with normalized Lebesgue measure, represented by the unit cube [0,1]d, and let v∈C(Td;Rq) be a periodic vector field. Let K≥0 be a frequency cutoff, and let Rk∈Cq′×q be trainable matrices for integer multi-indices k with ∥k∥∞≤K. Define the truncated Fourier integral layer by KRv(x)=∑∥k∥∞≤Ke2πik⋅xRkv^(k),v^(k)=∫Tde−2πik⋅yv(y) dy. For real-valued outputs require R−k=Rk‾ and R0 real. A Fourier neural-operator layer is vt+1(x)=σ(Wtvt(x)+KRvt(x)+bt(x)), where Wt is a real pointwise channel map, bt∈C(Td;Rq′) is a continuous periodic real bias, and σ:R→R is continuous and acts coordinatewise. The finite Fourier sum and these conditions give vt+1∈C(Td;Rq′). This definition gives a Fourier-parameterized layer only. It does not assert that the architecture is universal in any specified function-space topology.

Dependency tree · two levels

14 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
