How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Stabilized semi-implicit phase-field step
Definition
On either discrete realization of No-flux finite-volume and conforming realizations for phase fields, write for the finite-volume state space and for the conforming interval state space; use its inner product and the energy components defined there. Let be the Riesz gradient of the full potential energy. In the finite-volume realization, . In the conforming interval realization, is defined by where is the exact inner product. Given a previous state , parameters , and a stabilization parameter , the stabilized semi-implicit Allen–Cahn step is the linear equation For the same input, the stabilized semi-implicit Cahn–Hilliard step is These formulas define alternative updates with an explicitly lagged nonlinear potential and an added increment term. No energy law, unconditional solvability, maximum principle, or error estimate is asserted here for the quartic double well; any such property requires its own hypotheses and proof. In particular, no stability estimate proved for the convex-splitting update is silently transferred to this variant.

Dependency tree · two levels
9 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
