How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Three-Ising-anyon braid matrices are Clifford
Example
In the three-, total- Ising sector, use , , and . After removing the common phase , the two projective braid generators are
Facts & Assumptions
Given: The displayed fixed Ising fusion sector, its ordered channel basis, and the Pauli matrices .
The Pauli matrices are , , . The Pauli matrices
A unitary is Clifford when it normalizes the phase-aware Pauli group. Clifford normalizer
In the three-, total- sector, the Ising supplier gives , , and ; hence . It explicitly limits this to sector data. Ising fusion data and chiral convention
Verification
By [F3], . Removing gives , and recoupling by gives . Both are unitary because and are unitary. Put and , so . Direct multiplication, using , , and , gives Thus these matrices define a unitary representation of the two-generator Artin presentation of , independently of any all-label Ising coherence claim.
Direct multiplication gives , , and ; also , , and . Thus each generator conjugates every Pauli matrix to a signed Pauli matrix.
Products and inverses of Pauli normalizers again normalize the Pauli group: for normalizers , , and the inverse property follows by conjugating the equality by . The scalar phase removed in step 1.1 has trivial conjugation action, so the physical braids are projectively Clifford in this sector.
Remarks
This is a projective statement for an isolated fixed-charge sector. The scalar phase cannot be discarded when the braid is coherently controlled. The supplier gives sector data only; this item makes no all-label Ising category claim.

14 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
