How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
The extended Green and repository Drinfeld–Jimbo coproduct conventions agree on simple generators
Statement
For a vertex simple , the DJ-compatible extended Green coproduct has which is exactly the repository Drinfeld–Jimbo coproduct formula on . The alternative Hall convention is distinct and is not silently identified with . The positive Borel coproduct formulas are well-defined at .
Facts & Assumptions
Given: A finite loopless quiver, its positive Borel presentation, and the extended Green coproduct of The extended Green coproduct is an algebra map.
The repository Drinfeld–Jimbo coproduct is and (The Drinfeld–Jimbo formulas define a Hopf algebra).
The positive Borel coproduct assignments are the same formulas in the presentation of The Hall-normalized extended positive Borel of a loopless quiver.
The positive Serre ideal is a coideal for these coproducts in the toral action quotient (The coproduct preserves the positive and negative quantum Serre ideals). Its identities are Laurent-polynomial identities in ; at all quantum factorial denominators are nonzero, so those identities specialize.
For a simple , the extended coproduct is (The extended Green coproduct is an algebra map).
Proof
In the sum [F4] for , the only endpoint pairs are and . Each endpoint-labelled exact-sequence count is , and the Euler exponents involving zero are zero. Their terms are respectively and .
The formula in step 1.1 agrees term by term with [F1] under and . The group-like torus formulas agree as well. Formula [F2] is well-defined on the positive Serre quotient by [F3] and specialization at . Schiffmann’s has different simple terms, so no equality between those two coproduct conventions is asserted.
