How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Facts & Assumptions
Given: A member with .
The class has , each first derivative has supremum and Hölder seminorm at most , almost everywhere, , and almost everywhere outside . (Calderón admissible conductivity classes)
Proof
Given: The data in the statement.
Since is compact in , every boundary point of has a neighborhood disjoint from . On the open set , continuity and the almost-everywhere background condition force everywhere: otherwise a sufficiently small ball would have positive measure and bounded below by a positive number. Thus is identically in a neighborhood of every boundary point and is globally. Its derivatives vanish off and near . The same continuity argument promotes the almost-everywhere ellipticity bounds to pointwise bounds in , and the extension gives the claimed global value and derivative bounds. It also shows outside .
For , the Hölder estimate for each derivative follows from [F1]. For , both derivatives are zero. In the remaining case take and . The segment from to has a first exit point , with . By step 1.1, . Applying the original Hölder estimate on to gives . These cases exhaust all pairs, establishing the global seminorm and hence regularity.

Dependency tree · two levels
3 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
