How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
The type-A rational R-matrix satisfies Yang–Baxter and has exact singular parameters
Statement
Let and let be as in The type-A RTT Yangian in the rational i-normalization. For all , with , , and ,
on . Moreover, when . At the kernel is and the rank is ; at the kernel is and the rank is .
Facts & Assumptions
Given: , the standard basis of , and arbitrary .
The type-A RTT Yangian in the rational i-normalization: , , and swaps the indicated tensor positions.
The rational spin-1/2 spectral R-matrix: on the ordered basis of , and .
The rational spin-1/2 spectral R-matrix satisfies Yang-Baxter: for all complex spectral points, the corresponding un-checked three-leg operators satisfy the parameterized Yang–Baxter identity.
Proof
For , the ordered basis and flip in [F1] are exactly those in [F2], so on the same . The un-checked Yang–Baxter identity for this case is [F3].
For , put , , and . Acting on any basis tensor , the products all send to , while all send it to ; also as both send to . Hence, as operators, with and , those permutation identities hold on the whole basis.
The flip satisfies , so direct multiplication gives . Over , exactly when ; division by this scalar gives the stated inverse.
Expanding the left side gives ; the right side gives . By step 1.2, the quadratic parts are respectively and , which agree since ; the scalar and linear parts match termwise and the cubic terms match by . This proves the Yang–Baxter identity for all , and step 1.1 covers .
The operators and are complementary projectors because . Their images have bases , and for , respectively, so their dimensions are and . On these subspaces acts by and ; therefore at it has kernel , and at it has kernel , with the ranks stated.

Each arrow is a composite endomorphism of , with its rightmost factor applied first. The diagram records the two sides of the equation just proved; the equality follows from the basis-permutation calculation in the proof, not from the diagram.

6 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
