How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
A unital Hall algebra is a left module over itself
Statement
Let be a commutative ring with unit, and let be any unital associative -algebra that is a Hall algebra. The map given by is a representation, so the left regular action makes a Hall-algebra module.
Facts & Assumptions
Given: A unital associative Hall -algebra .
Modules over a Hall algebra are unital algebra representations: a Hall module is an -module with an -bilinear action satisfying the associative and unit laws.
Proof
Define for . Since multiplication is -bilinear, for each fixed the map is -linear and is -linear, so is an -linear map.
For , by associativity, and , so . Thus is a unital -algebra homomorphism and hence a Hall-algebra representation by [F1].

An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
