How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
The Heisenberg Jordan Fock family is grading-restricted; it is logarithmic exactly when λ is nonzero
Statement
Let , define , , and let for . The oscillator module constructed in Heisenberg normal-ordered fields give modules with an arbitrary zero-mode action is a module over the conformal CFT-type rank-one Heisenberg VOA of central charge . Its conformal modes are
where . The degree spaces give an admissible grading and are exactly the generalized weight spaces of weights , of dimension . Thus is grading-restricted generalized. It is logarithmic exactly when ; at it is ordinary despite its nonsemisimple current zero mode. In particular has and .
Facts & Assumptions
Given: The rank-one polynomial VOA, the explicit two-dimensional and its normal-ordered Fock action.
Heisenberg normal-ordered fields give modules with an arbitrary zero-mode action proves the full module Jacobi identity, lower truncation and the shift for a state of weight .
The rank-one Heisenberg vacuum space is a conformal VOA of central charge one proves , central charge , the normal-square conformal field and finite polynomial weight spaces .
Admissible module for a vertex operator algebra fixes the nonnegative integer grading and mode shift. Grading-restricted generalized module requires finite generalized weight spaces and a lower bound on real parts.
Logarithmic generalized module means grading-restricted generalized with nonsemisimple ; Ordinary module means that is semisimple instead.
Proof
Apply [F1] with the displayed . This already gives a genuine module with all three-variable Jacobi coefficients verified, not merely a representation of the current-mode Lie algebra. Formula [F2] and the action definition give , so its modes are the displayed quadratic sums, finite on each polynomial vector by the same normal-order bounds as [F1]. At this gives . Since , .
The conformal modes also satisfy the central-charge-one Virasoro relations directly. The oscillator commutator gives . Thus commutes with every multiplication and derivative mode and is determined by its action on the common positive-mode kernel . Its degree is ; an operator commuting with all positive modes must send into , so if . For , and . Applying gives . Subtracting leaves . Antisymmetry and the case complete the Virasoro relation; commuting with negative multiplication modes extends it from to every polynomial vector.
The degree shift in [F1] is precisely [F3]'s admissible shift, so is admissible. On its degree- subspace, step 1.1 gives . Distinct degrees have distinct eigenvalues. If , then is invertible on that degree, with inverse where . Since vectors have only finitely many degree components, the generalized eigenspaces are exactly the stated degree spaces. They have finite dimension by [F2], and their real parts are bounded below by . This verifies grading restriction in [F3].
If , on the lowest space the vector satisfies and its second iterate is zero. Thus is not semisimple, and the module is logarithmic by [F4]. If , step 1.1 gives , diagonal on the displayed grading, so the module is ordinary by [F4] and not logarithmic. At the explicit formulas become and . No unproved module-twist, reconstruction-for-modules, classification, or rationality theorem is used.
