How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
SI and geometrized Einstein–Maxwell parameters
Definition
Use the smooth oriented, time-oriented Lorentzian four-manifold, metric signature , and arbitrary smooth real two-form of Oriented Lorentzian fields, observers and coordinate conventions. In a chart using the coordinate convention with all four coordinates assigned metres, assign the SI component unit tesla to ; the two-form then has unit weber.
For this conversion dictionary, take , , and as numerical input parameters, with SI dimensions
Define the derived parameters
Thus has unit , has unit , has unit , and the components have unit . In modern SI, is fixed exactly by the definition of the metre; is not fixed exactly and its numerical value is determined experimentally. Here the equations use only the positive symbolic parameters above, not a selected numerical value.
For a physical mass in kilograms, signed charge in coulombs, and angular momentum in , define the geometric length parameters
For a supplied magnetic-flux parameter in webers, also define in metres. This is only a conversion of an already specified flux value; it asserts neither a global potential nor a magnetic source. The inverse parameter maps are , , , and .
The mass, charge, angular momentum and flux are inputs to this dictionary; their primitive or derived status in any physical model is framework-specific. No field equation, Maxwell postulate, matter law, or empirical value is part of this definition.
Remarks
The Lorentzian geometry supplier records the inherited tangent-bundle background under Countable Choice ; this dictionary uses no further choice and does not assume the full Axiom of Choice.
