How statement and proof provenance work

The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.

  • Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
  • AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
  • AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.

These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Bounded Stokes pressure sensors

Definition

Assume Countable Choice. Let d∈{2,3} and let D⊂Rd be a nonempty bounded connected Lipschitz open set. Put Q:=L02(D)={q∈L2(D;R):∫Dq dx=0} with the L2 norm, and write Q′ for the continuous real dual of Q. A bounded Stokes pressure sensor on D is a bounded real-linear functional S:Q→R, where bounded means that its operator norm ∥S∥Q′:=sup⁡∥q∥L2(D)≤1∣S(q)∣ is finite. The reading of S at a normalized pressure q∈Q is S(q).

The normalized pressure-space convention Q=L02(D) is supplied by Stokes velocity and pressure spaces and weak forms, under Countable Choice.
