How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Exterior sphere Stokes solution, force and decay-class uniqueness — worked interpretation
Constructed substitution into the exact zero-inertia Stokes sphere result, conditional on its uniform decay class and ACω; no comparison error bound or measurement is asserted.
Example
Assume and use the exact uniform-decay Stokes model for a sphere of radius with , , and uniform far-field velocity . The exact model resultant with sphere normal directed into the fluid is . Choose characteristic speed and length , and define . This is only a parameter calculation and supplies no error estimate comparing this zero-inertia model with the full equation retaining material acceleration.

Exterior sphere Stokes solution, force and decay-class uniqueness — conditional physical prediction: under , the fixed-sphere Stokes resultant is in the stated orientation and decay class.
The Axiom of Countable Choice (): asserts that for every sequence of nonempty sets there is a function with domain such that for every . It is assumed here, as in [F1].
Proof
Substituting and into gives .
The dimensionless ratio is . It does not change the Stokes-model hypotheses or create an error bound for Navier–Stokes.
