How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Two-mode fermionic oscillator for the rest algebra
Example
Let and let have orthonormal occupation basis for . Define fermionic annihilation operators by and , and let be their Hilbert adjoints. Set , , all central charges to zero, and , with dotted index corresponding to the same . Give the parity . This finite-dimensional rest fiber is a positive representation of the supercharge anticommutators in the stated mostly-plus convention; it has two even and two odd states. Use natural units , so has mass dimension one and each displayed supercharge has mass dimension one-half. It is only a rest-algebra fiber and asserts no full spacetime representation.

Verification
Given: [F1], [F2], and the four basis vectors in the Example.
The occupation formulas give , , , and , with creation zero when its mode is occupied. Thus removes the first occupied mode without sign and removes the second with the sign . If , applying to a basis vector gives that vector: when mode is empty only the first term returns it, and when occupied only the second does. If , the two orders remove and insert distinct modes with opposite signs from the displayed rule, so they cancel. Therefore . Two annihilations or two creations also anticommute, since exchanging their order changes the same occupation sign and repeated creation or annihilation is zero.
Scaling the CAR by gives . By [F1], the rest right-hand side is . The vanishing same-chirality anticommutators follow from the two-annihilation and two-creation relations in step 1.1, and all central charges were set to zero. Thus every stated rest anticommutator holds.
Each annihilation or creation changes by one, so every and reverses parity. The four occupation vectors have parities , giving two states in each sector. The common domain is all of finite-dimensional , so all products and adjoints used above are defined.
