How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Gauge-invariant bilinears in one SU(2) hypermultiplet
A local algebraic check of the mass and cubic superpotential terms in the classical N=2 SU(2) model for one fundamental hypermultiplet; it is not a quantum or empirical claim.
Example
Use the defining representation with group homomorphism given by acting by matrix multiplication. In each superspace fiber let be a column in , let be a row in , and let act by . Under any chiral supergauge transformation , set , , and . Then the mass bilinear and cubic bilinear in the adopted superpotential are gauge invariant. This checks gauge invariance of these two terms only; it does not prove the extended supersymmetry variation.

Facts & Assumptions
Given: The fundamental representation and chiral supergauge transformations in the Example, under the adopted classical model.
Four-dimensional SU(2) vector and hypermultiplet model: one hypermultiplet has chiral superfields in and in , with superpotential .
Four-dimensional non-Abelian vector superfield in connection normalization: in a representation , a chiral matter superfield transforms as under an admissible chiral supergauge parameter.
Verification
Given: [A1], [F1], and the fundamental representation with its dual action on .
The dual action is right multiplication by , so . Thus the mass bilinear is invariant.
The adjoint action gives . Hence the cubic bilinear, and therefore the stated linear combination of mass and cubic terms, is invariant.
