How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Dust stress-energy in a boosted inertial frame
Example
In an inertial chart with frame , define the constant future unit field by and the dust tensor on all of , with constant rest coefficient . Thus and the only nonzero component is . Under the passive boost of The passive Lorentz boost with parameter beta along the axis with parameter , , , the primed components are all other components zero; equivalently , where denotes the primed components of the same field , namely .
Facts & Assumptions
Given: The affine Minkowski model with inertial frame and chart (Oriented time-oriented affine Minkowski space (the spacetime primitives), Inertial frames and inertial charts of the affine Minkowski model, Lorentz forms of inertia (3,1,0) on a 4-dimensional real vector space); constant; the fields and on all of , with , which is , symmetric and constant; the primed chart with the matrix of the passive boost along with parameter and (The passive Lorentz boost with parameter beta, Rational powers of a positive base).
Rank-two component law: under the inertial transition the components transform as ; the boost is proper orthochronous with inverse . For the same vector field , the primed components obey . (Transformation of tensor, covector, derivative and current components under affine Lorentz maps,(i),(iii), The passive boost is a proper orthochronous Lorentz map with inverse B(-beta))
Conservation terminology: a constant symmetric field has vanishing force density , and dust tensors with constant future unit and constant are conserved by the dust equivalence. (Stress-energy tensor, force density and local balance on flat spacetime, Dust: conservation of rho n tensor n is equivalent to continuity and inertial flow)
Verification
Boosted components. The boost matrix has , , and preserves the other two spatial directions (The passive Lorentz boost with parameter beta). Since , [F1] gives ; using , , this is , , and .
Factorization and conservation. For the same field , [F1] gives , hence its primed components are , , . Step 1.1 therefore reads ; the passive change preserves the fields and . The primed components satisfy and , consistent with the future unit normalization of . All primed components are constant in the primed chart, so , consistent with [F2] applied to the constant future unit field and constant .
The primed coordinate coefficient is the numerical factorization ; its source interpretation as one energy factor and one volume factor belongs to the separately adopted dust model reading and is not proved by this component computation. The example is a component computation and asserts no interaction, no dynamics and no measurement.
