How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Example
Use global Cartesian length coordinates on Minkowski space , with , metric , and future direction selected by . Set and let be the polar angle away from ; the rotation field is defined smoothly on all of by its Cartesian expression. Let
so the spatial section is an annulus and all fields below are defined on this four-dimensional product domain. Adopt the exact SI defining values and . For , , and , the rotating field has . Define the smooth one-form on , set and for a fixed nonzero in . For any fixed nonzero SI charge in coulombs, define in . Then is closed and has period on every positively oriented circle of fixed in the spatial annulus. Hence no global smooth dimensionless scalar satisfies .

Facts & Assumptions
Given: The length-coordinate Minkowski metric, , , , in , and .
Rotation and charged equilibrium obstruction: the rotating temperature is on , and a nonzero period of forbids a global solution of .
Period of a smooth one-form along a closed curve: on a smooth manifold, for a smooth one-form and a closed continuous piecewise- curve with finitely many chartwise pieces and one-sided endpoint derivatives, the period is the sum of the integrals of the one-form evaluated on the curve tangent over those pieces.
An exact one-form has zero period on every closed piecewise-C¹ curve: every exact smooth one-form has zero period on every closed piecewise- curve.
The domain is , with , the global Cartesian Minkowski metric, and the globally smooth rotation generator .
The global one-form and the fields , are smooth on .
The adopted exact SI values are and ; coulombs and has units .
Verification
Given: [A1], [A2], and [F1]–[F3].
The chosen radius satisfies , so and the rotating temperature formula in [F1] gives . The annulus has , so every point lies inside the timelike domain.
The form is smooth because . Its coefficients are and , with , so . Also . Hence , and contraction gives . Since and , .
For , , its tangent satisfies and direct substitution into gives . Hence .
If a global smooth solved , then because . This would be exact, so [F3] would force , contradicting step 1.3. Hence no such global scalar exists.
