How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Asymptotic time-translation flux of a charged scalar mode
Statement
Use the fixed subextremal electric Reissner–Nordström exterior, gauge, charged derivative, real normalized spherical harmonic , and mode conventions of Massless charged-scalar radial scattering data. Let be any admitted real-frequency scattering mode with and , and let be its reflection coefficient. Form by the scalar stress-tensor definition. With , define the outward radial flux through the sphere of radius by
Let and be the two leading asymptotic components. Define their nonnegative directional flux magnitudes by
Then
This is a conditional tensor calculation for the specified mode asymptotics; it asserts neither that such a mode exists nor that its flux has been observed.

Facts & Assumptions
Given: The exact static exterior and gauge of the scattering definition, a real normalized harmonic, an admitted mode with its stated two-term asymptotics and differentiated asymptotics at infinity, and the tensor assignment in the stress-tensor definition.
Massless charged-scalar radial scattering data: , , , , , and ; also .
The separated mode has the normalized asymptotics and as , with all parameters real and .
Proof
Since and , the time derivative satisfies . Using and , the differentiated asymptotics and give
Since , [F2] gives . Substitution of step 1.1 gives the diagonal terms ; the cross terms are for and have zero real part. Integrating over the sphere and taking therefore gives the net outward flux .
For the incoming component, and , so ; its positive inward magnitude is after sphere integration. For the reflected component, while , so its nonnegative outward magnitude is . Their ratio is because and .
Remarks
The Coulomb phase in the scattering definition is retained; only its derivative limit enters the asymptotic stress calculation. The result concerns the prescribed geometric normalization and supplies no scattering-solution existence claim.
