How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Proof
By [F4], is a Hilbert space, so its symmetric tensor sectors and Fock space in the Statement are defined. Fix , write , and let . Expanding the permutation average and using symmetry of gives , where is the tensor with in the slots in and the factors of in the remaining slots, symmetrized there. Indeed, for each fixed placement , the permutations of the equal factors and the symmetric give the same tensor, and .
Distinct placements are orthogonal: if , some slot contains in one tensor and a vector of in the other, and . Each has norm , so step 1.1 gives . The same orthogonality shows that the images for different in a fixed sector are orthogonal. Thus the factor makes isometric and their sector ranges are orthogonal.
Algebraic elementary tensors in are dense by [F1]. Expand each factor using , distribute the finite tensor product, and apply . Every resulting term has exactly factors and factors in , so it lies in the range described in step 2.1. Since is bounded and algebraic elementary tensors are dense, their symmetrizations are dense in ; the range of the isometry is closed, hence it equals . Taking the orthogonal direct sum over proves that is onto and unitary.
On a vector with , creation by acts by . Since averages over all permutations, symmetrizing the last slots first does not change the result. This equals . The binomial identity makes this exactly . Thus creation becomes the stated one-mode raising map. Annihilation by is zero for , because every first tensor factor lies in . For , the placement formula of step 1.1 shows that contraction keeps exactly the placements with in the contracted slot. Therefore , using . Thus annihilation becomes the stated one-mode lowering map and leaves the factor unchanged.
