How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Facts & Assumptions
Given: The Axiom of Choice, a complex Hilbert space , a positive self-adjoint injective with spectral measure , and .
Assume the Axiom of Choice (The Axiom of Choice).
The spectral theorem and unbounded Borel calculus give the scalar spectral measure , the norm formula for bounded spectral multipliers, and unitary imaginary powers (Spectral theorem for unbounded self-adjoint operators (PVM form), Integral of a measurable function against a projection-valued measure, Unbounded Borel functional calculus: domains, products, spectral mapping).
Dominated convergence applies to the finite scalar measure (Dominated convergence).
Proof
Let . For every , , while . Since , [F1] and [F2] give Thus the orbit is sequentially continuous.
The real parameter space and Hilbert-space norm topology are metric, so sequential continuity is equivalent to continuity. Therefore is norm-continuous for every .
