How statement and proof provenance work

The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.

  • Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
  • AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
  • AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.

These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Specified finite spatial compact U(1) gauge regulator

Physical scope

Adopted fixed finite-graph U(1) rotor and finite-CAR regulator with a fixed background and bounded interaction data. Hamiltonian coefficients are assigned energy units; no spatial embedding, continuum approximation or limit, continuum QED identification, empirical realization, or measured prediction is asserted.

Postulate

Adopt as one selected regulated physical model the finite oriented-graph data of Exact compact U(1) rotor plus finite CAR data, with finite nonempty vertex and link sets, compact U(1) rotor variables on links, finite CAR matter at vertices, fixed integer background bx∈{0,…,s}, and the displayed Gauss operators. The mathematical definition specifies Hkin=L2(TE)⊗^Fa(Cs∣V∣), the integer-spectrum electric operators Ee, link unitaries Ue, and the Hamiltonian H=H0+VB+VF on its stated maximal domain D(H0). This physical adoption does not add an embedding of the graph into space or alter the mathematical definition's operator domains.

For the physical-unit assignment, the link angles, Ee, Ue, and finite CAR operators are dimensionless. Assign units joules to λE, every λp, and every entry of Mx and Te in the displayed Hamiltonian; then H has units joules and tH/ℏ is dimensionless with t in seconds and ℏ in joule-seconds, as in Quantum field quantities and compatible SI normalizations. The graph is finite regulator data, not a coordinate lattice with an assigned spacing.

The adopted reading is limited to a model whose mathematical data are actually constructed, consistent with Physical interpretation of a supplied constructed quantum model. The CAR construction inside Exact compact U(1) rotor plus finite CAR data is conditional on Countable Choice and its inspected draft Fock/CAR supplier interfaces; this postulate does not confer proof acceptance on those carriers. It adopts no experimental result, measurement probability, continuum approximation, Lorentz-invariant continuum theory, or claim that the model describes nature.
