How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Energy-density concentration at differentiable lattice pressure
Conditional model probabilities for bounded finite-range lattice systems at a differentiability point of the limiting log-partition density; no concentration claim is made at a nondifferentiable point or for arbitrary observables.
Statement
For the lattice model and canonical law of Bulk log-partition pressure for a bounded finite-range lattice model, let converge pointwise on an open interval to . If is differentiable at , set in joules per site. Then the canonical mean energy density satisfies , and for every there exist and such that The probability is the model's finite-volume canonical probability, not an observed frequency. No conclusion is asserted when is nondifferentiable.
Facts & Assumptions
Given: The bounded finite-range lattice models, their canonical probabilities, pointwise convergence of on an open positive interval, and differentiability of the limit at .
Bulk log-partition pressure for a bounded finite-range lattice model: is the reduced lattice log-partition density and its canonical law is the finite-volume model law.
Limiting derivative and concentration (current batch 11 draft): if the finite-volume lattice pressures converge pointwise on an open positive interval and the limiting pressure is differentiable at , then the finite-volume mean energy density converges to and both tails have an exponential bound. Its full current proof was inspected; its draft status remains conditional.
Canonical sampling assumption for finite and normalized statistical models: the finite-volume probabilities are .
SI quantities and unit conventions: is in joules, and are in joules per site, in , and the probability bound is dimensionless.
lies in an open interval , on that interval, and is differentiable at the specified .
Proof
Given: The lattice model, its finite canonical law, the pointwise limiting pressure, and differentiability at .
The finite-volume energy law and in [F1]–[F2] match the model and probability hypotheses of [L1]. The condition and differentiability at are exactly those in [A1].
Applying [L1] yields and, for each fixed , a constant and threshold with the stated two-tail exponential estimate. The result is a model probability statement and is silent at pressure nondifferentiability.
