How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Classical material, point-source and mechanical regimes and the quantum exclusions
Scope statement for classical electromagnetism as assembled in this framework: continuum and regularity regime; the declared material-closure branches and their excluded nonlinear, nonlocal, hysteretic and beyond-branch responses; the point-source self-interaction exclusions; the external-force Lorentz coupling; the absence of quantum charge, spin, measurement and photon postulates, with the classical-wave interference statement; and the qualitative, report-backed status of the empirical content. The remark asserts no theorem, no measurement, no probability and no proof, and it carries the qualifications of every item it cites.
Remark
Every cited conditional result retains its stated hypotheses. In particular, the point-source and causal-wave comparisons below assume Countable Choice (, The Axiom of Countable Choice ()) through their source suppliers; this qualification supplies no additional field or self-interaction model.
Record the established scope limits of the classical electromagnetic results assembled in this framework, with no speculative content. Each clause names what is and is not supplied; the remark asserts no theorem and adds no result.
(a) [Continuum and regularity regime] The fields of the framework are the maps of The electric and magnetic fields as fixed-time spatial vector fields on the laboratory region, with the regularity class carried by each statement; the solved branches are the smooth and stated weak branches of the adopted equations, and every conclusion holds only under its own stated regularity, domain and boundary hypotheses. No discrete, atomic or finite-resolution structure of matter or charge is assumed, and none is derived.
(b) [Material-model regime] The material results rest on the declared constitutive branches of Declared material-closure branches: linear nondispersive Ohmic response and the causal memory branch (the elementary inertial-rest linear nondispersive Ohmic branch and the causal memory branch with its declared kernel or transfer-function hypotheses); arbitrary nonlinear, nonlocal, hysteretic, or beyond-branch anisotropic and strongly dispersive response is not established by this framework, and each declared branch carries its own regime of validity, including the finite-band qualification of the constant-coefficient branch.
(c) [Singular sources and self-interaction] For a nonzero point charge , Divergence of the point-charge field energy and the limits of mass inference(a)-(b) gives divergence of the self-field energy as the inner cutoff is removed; for its displayed truncated energy is identically zero and this divergence does not occur. Self-force, runaways and finite-size regularizations are not supplied by this page records that products of a singular self-field with the charge's own distributional current are not defined by the adopted source model, and that the emitted-power results concern prescribed sources and determine no back-reaction. No self-force dynamics, runaway analysis, finite-size regularization or electromagnetic derivation of rest mass is supplied by this framework.
(d) [External-force and mechanical coupling] Particle motion enters only through the adopted Lorentz coupling The Lorentz coupling: external force on a test charge and the continuum force and power densities with a prescribed external field; the framework determines the motion of a specified test charge in a specified field and supplies no material law, no self-field dynamics and no derivation of the particle parameters. Any coupling to matter beyond the declared branches is an additional model assumption.
(e) [Quantum and ontological exclusions] The framework adopts no quantisation of charge, no spin or magnetic-moment degree of freedom, no measurement postulates and no photon model. Its interference results, such as the coherent cross term of Superposition intensity and the coherent interference cross term, are deterministic statements about classical wave fields; classical electromagnetic waves interfere, so an interference pattern alone neither establishes a quantum description nor falsifies classical electromagnetism, and the framework's field predictions do not single out an ontology of the underlying field or of a particle.
(f) [Empirical status] The empirical content of this page is report-backed and qualitative: the records of the three primary reports, in their stated read extents, carry no calibrated response functions, trial-level datasets or declared sampling laws, so they support and constrain the specified models only within their declared apparatus, calibration and analysis assumptions; agreement does not prove the framework and disagreement does not deductively falsify it. No measurement, precision, probability or confidence level is invented or inferred by this remark.
(g) [Status] This is a scope remark, not an established theorem; it records the limits of the results assembled here and asserts no new result, no measurement and no proof.
