How statement and proof provenance work

The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.

  • Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
  • AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
  • AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.

These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Boundary-flux commutation obstructs charged regulator insertions

Physical scope

Hypothetical charge-changing insertion in the fixed finite-graph rotor/CAR regulator, conditional on physical-sector preservation, common electric domains and commutation with every boundary electric operator. No continuum-locality or all-charged-sector theorem is asserted.

Statement

Consider the idealized attempt to insert a nonzero charge in a region R of the finite-graph model of Exact Ward/Gauss predictions in adopted regulator. Let ∂R={e∈E:e has exactly one endpoint in R}, with ϵ(e,R)=1 for links directed out of R and −1 for links directed into R, and put QR=∑x∈R(nx−bxI). On DR=Hphys∩⋂e∈∂RD(Ee), suppose a bounded operator O preserves Hphys, maps each boundary domain D(Ee) into itself, and satisfies EeOϕ=OEeϕ for all ϕ∈D(Ee) and all e∈∂R. Then [QR,O]ψ=0(ψ∈DR). If, in addition, [QR,O]ψ=qOψ on DR for a fixed q≠0, then Oψ=0 for every ψ∈DR. Thus a charge-changing insertion cannot act nontrivially on this domain while preserving the physical sector and commuting with every boundary electric operator. This is a fixed-regulator statement; it does not claim a continuum charged-sector or general locality theorem.

Facts & Assumptions

Given: Full AC, the exact finite-graph physical sector and regional Gauss identity, and the boundedness/domain hypotheses on O.

[A1]

The Axiom of Choice: every family of nonempty sets has a choice function. It is carried because the finite-regulator physical evolution and Ward result used below assume full AC.

[F1]

Exact Ward/Gauss predictions in adopted regulator: the adopted finite model has a nonzero physical sector, the stated exact Gauss/Ward identities, and the current domain-qualified regional charge/flux conclusion. That theorem is conditional on full AC and current draft mathematical suppliers.

[F2]

Gauss law and charged localization obstruction: on Hphys∩⋂e∈∂RD(Ee), a bounded operator that preserves the physical sector, preserves each boundary electric domain, and commutes with each boundary Ee has [QR,O]ψ=0. The current carrier is a draft with a complete conditional proof and a Step-1 ready record.

Proof

Given: [A1], [F1], [F2], R⊆V, and the domain hypotheses in the Statement.

1.1A1F1F2givenalgebra

By [F1], the physical sector and the regional charge QR are those of the exact finite regulator. The supplier [F2] gives the coefficient identity QRψ=∑e∈∂Rϵ(e,R)Eeψ on DR: summing the Gauss multipliers over x∈R cancels every link with both endpoints in R, leaving only the signed boundary links.

2.1F2step 1.1givenalgebra

The hypotheses on O match [F2], so Oψ remains physical and in all boundary electric domains. Therefore QROψ=∑e∈∂Rϵ(e,R)EeOψ=O∑e∈∂Rϵ(e,R)Eeψ=OQRψ, which proves [QR,O]ψ=0 on DR.

3.1step 2.1givenalgebra∎

If also [QR,O]ψ=qOψ with fixed q≠0, step 2.1 gives qOψ=0 for every ψ∈DR. Division by the nonzero scalar q yields Oψ=0 there; no conclusion about vectors outside this domain is needed.
