How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
A positive integral SL2 twist is regular but not D-affine
Statement refuted
Regularity of alone implies that is exact and conservative for -modules.
Facts & Assumptions
Given: , , with , and an integer .
For integral , (PBW and integral line-bundle twisting for flag TDOs).
Cech cohomology on the two affine charts of computes sheaf cohomology (Cech cohomology computes quasi-coherent cohomology on a separated scheme).
Quasi-coherence is the affine-local associated-module condition (Quasi-coherent module on a scheme).
Proof
For the unique positive root, , so is regular and non-antidominant. By [F1], is a left -module, and it is nonzero because it is locally free of rank one.
With , and transition for , the Cech differential has image spanned by nonnegative powers and powers for . The first summand gives every exponent , the second every exponent ; the quotient has basis , of size . No exponent belongs to the intersection of those two ranges, so . Thus and .
Since is nonzero and quasi-coherent but , the map proves failure of conservativity. For the standard chart inclusions , put and . Restriction and difference give a -linear exact sequence : differential operators act on direct images by restriction, the kernel consists of sections that glue, and on the other direct-image summand maps isomorphically onto . These sheaves are quasi-coherent by [F4]: on their distinguished-open sections are the localizations of , and , respectively; the same calculation holds with on . The map is exactly the computed Cech differential with nonzero cokernel. Thus global sections is not exact on quasi-coherent -modules.

33 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
