How statement and proof provenance work

The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.

  • Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
  • AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
  • AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.

These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Intrinsic Borel–Moore grading on quiver quotient stacks

Definition

Assume AC as inherited from Equivariant Borel–Moore homology and oriented correspondence convolution. For a separated finite-type complex variety X with an algebraic action of a finite product G of general linear groups, put g=dim⁡CG. The intrinsic quotient-stack Borel–Moore grading of this presentation is Hi([X/G];Q)=Hi+2gBM,G(X;Q). The group on the right has exactly the variety dualizing normalization of the cited supplier, ωXG∣X=ωX. Equivalently, for a sufficiently acyclic free general linear frame space U of dimension t, the group is the stable value Hi+2tBM(X×GU;Q) in each fixed degree. There is no one finite approximation asserted to compute all degrees.

For representation stacks use X=Rep⁡Q(d) and G=Gd from Representation stacks and exact-sequence correspondences of a finite quiver. For an extension or flag presentation [Y/P] with total-dimension group G and block parabolic P, use the induced variety S=G×PY and set Hi([Y/P])=Hi+2dim⁡GBM,G(S). The induction and frame comparisons for these presentations are proved in Parabolic and Levi Borel models for quiver extension and flag stacks ↗; this formula does not assert presentation independence for arbitrary Artin stacks.

If X is smooth of dimension x, write D=x−g. Then Hi([X/G])=HG2D−i(X;Q). The complex orientation, rational coefficients and the intrinsic shift are part of this convention. No Tate enrichment is included. Rank-zero general linear factors are omitted and the empty product is the trivial group.

12 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
