How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Representation stacks and exact-sequence correspondences of a finite quiver
Definition
Let be a finite quiver, in the convention of Integral path ring of a finite quiver, and work over . A dimension vector is a function . Put The group acts by change of basis: . The representation stack is the quotient stack: over a scheme , its objects are left -torsors with equivariant maps ; arrows are equivariant isomorphisms commuting with these maps. The finite-dimensional atlas and the algebraic-stack conditions are verified in Affine quotients by products of general linear groups are algebraic stacks.
For two dimension vectors , write and choose . Let be the vector space of representations preserving . For an arrow , its matrix has the form Let be the subgroup preserving the chosen graded subspaces. Define the exact-sequence stack Its maps are The map sends an exact sequence to its subrepresentation and quotient; forgets the subrepresentation. Thus the order convention is . The block form shows that the off-diagonal extension parameters are the coordinates ; it does not assert that extension classes are a vector space after quotienting by automorphisms.
\mathfrak M_{\mathbf a}\times\mathfrak M_{\mathbf b}
& \mathfrak E_{\mathbf a,\mathbf b}
\arrow[l,"q"'] \arrow[r,"p"]
& \mathfrak M_{\mathbf a+\mathbf b}
The diagram records only the two maps just defined; it supplies no equality of maps or algebraic operation by itself.
Remarks
The untwisted terminology below refers to the absence of Euler-form signs, automorphism denominators, and Tate twists in the product convention. The complex orientation in equivariant Borel–Moore homology remains part of the cohomology theory.

Dependency tree · two levels
15 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
