How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Circuit-to-open-graph resource encoding with normalized transport rounds
Definition
Let be a finite J/CZ circuit and let have rounds and recorded scalar as in Normalized transport schedule for a J/CZ circuit. The schedule index denotes source circuit wire ; thus a schedule edge corresponds to the source-wire pair . Coordinate of every frame vector denotes this same wire. The encoded graph has vertices for and , horizontal edges , and vertical edges for . It is a finite simple graph by Normalized transport encoding is a finite simple graph of bounded size. Its input vertices are , its outputs are , and its ordered vertex register follows wire index first and then column index. In particular, the inherited orders on and are and , matching source circuit wire order . The pattern’s measurement order on the vertices is round-major, wire-minor, for and .
The adaptive basis angles and terminal correction are defined from the outcome blocks as follows. Let be the binary adjacency matrix of with vertex order (vertex is position in the zero-based order of Binary adjacency matrix of an ordered finite simple graph), so exactly when . Matrix-vector products and all frame vectors use these coordinates; binary dot products mean . The frame functions are defined recursively by and the following formulas. Before round , define
For an outcome block , the post-round frame is defined by and . The function of earlier outcomes given by these recurrences selects the equatorial measurement basis at each vertex. For a complete transcript , the terminal frame and correction are the following functions. For , the zero-scalar Pauli frame is from Phase aware n qubit pauli group, and the terminal correction is . For , the empty frame is and the correction is the identity on the one-dimensional register.
For , define if and if , as in Adaptive J angle and Pauli-frame update, and put
For , the empty transcript has scalar . The encoding retains these exact scalars; no global phase is discarded. Its graph has vertices and for original layers. The item Normalized transport rounds preserve the circuit up to a recorded phase proves that the normalized round circuit is ; the branch theorem proves the resulting pattern's relation to .
