How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Arbitrary-framing A1 varieties and their conormal Hecke correspondence
Statement
Assume the Axiom of Choice. Fix , , and the no-arrow one-vertex quiver. For , stable data are , , , with and injective; acts by . This extends the convention in A one-vertex framed quiver variety and its Hecke correspondence. The algebraic orbit space is under , . Put , so , . The map , , is projective; its zero fiber is the zero section.
For , put and write , . The framed subdatum Hecke locus is Its image in uses the same in both factors. It is the conormal bundle to after applying fiberwise negation in the second cotangent factor. Both projections are projective, , and scheme-theoretically. All these constructions are -equivariant.
Facts & Assumptions
Given: The vector spaces, stable data, group actions and incidence spaces in the statement, over .
Grassmannian charts are graphs of maps , so their tangent bundle is ; Grassmannians are smooth irreducible projective of dimension (The Grassmannian of r-dimensional subspaces of a finite-dimensional vector space, Standard affine charts on the Grassmannian, The Grassmannian is smooth, irreducible, and has dimension r(n-r)).
The quotient projective bundle represents line quotients (Projective bundle represents line quotients).
Proof
Stability and give of dimension and with image in and . Conversely such and a frame give followed by inclusion and . These constructions are inverse and algebraic on the graph charts [F1]; changing the frame is exactly the free action. The stable locus is therefore the frame bundle over the displayed vector bundle, proving the algebraic geometric quotient claim, without an appeal to an unspecified GIT quotient. Trace identifies the dual of with , yielding .
The incidence equations , cut out a closed subscheme of . Projection from this product is projective, hence so is . Its fiber at is the zero section scheme, and everywhere. This agrees with the zero fiber of the affine invariant quotient of the framed data if that quotient is also used: its invariant functions include all entries of , so the zero fiber forces ; conversely at the orbit closure under contains the zero datum as , so every invariant function has its zero-datum value. Thus no assertion identifying the entire affine invariant ring is needed.
A framed inclusion requires and , with the identity on . In the quotient model it is exactly and a common satisfying , ; conversely these conditions reconstruct the inclusion and its unframed one-dimensional quotient. They describe the vector bundle of rank on . The map is the quotient projective bundle of the tautological rank- bundle on , with fiber ; is the bundle of lines in , with fiber . Hence and .
A tangent vector to the flag incidence is induced by some , since adapted bases identify the incidence with a transitive orbit. Cotangent vectors annihilate every such tangent vector exactly when for all , that is . Together with the two cotangent conditions this says , . This identifies the conormal fibers, with the asserted sign in the second factor, and the same linear equations identify vector bundles on every chart. In particular is smooth and closed in the product. For the first projection, is a closed subvariety of cut out by ; for the second it is closed in cut out by . Both are projective projections. Setting either source or target to zero cuts all fiber coordinates of , so both inverse images of zero sections are exactly with its reduced zero-section scheme structure.
An element acts on data by and on the quotient by . It acts on flags and on by the same transport. The frame quotient, trace pairing, incidence equations and all projections commute with these actions. This proves the equivariance assertions, including the conormal sign identification. The inherited Axiom of Choice supplies bases; the actual chart computations use only finite-dimensional choices.
