How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Proof
The posterior coordinate variances satisfy , and the noise weights satisfy . Split at . For , and for . For , ; the decreasing-function integral comparison bounds its sum by . Thus and . By [F4], . Two integrations by parts using give (all boundary terms vanish), so . Independence then bounds the variance of by . Finite sums pass to the nonnegative infinite sum by monotone convergence; the centered sums are Cauchy in since .
Each squared bias coefficient increases with , so it suffices to consider . Set , . By the bounds on , . For and , . Indeed for has its maximum on at an endpoint, and its value at exceeds its value at . The contribution of these indices is consequently at most . The index is zero by hypothesis.
All decrease in . Thus the same couple the process and . Chebyshev at threshold above its mean yields , proving (iii).
For the posterior-radius lower bound, retain only integer indices . For there are at least such indices, and each has . The retained quadratic sum therefore has mean at least , where . Each retained variance weight is at most , so . Also , hence . Since is fixed, the last probability is less than for sufficiently large . The full posterior squared norm dominates , so its quantile is at least . This proves (i), with , independently of . The full norm is finite a.s. when because . At zero use only the defined whole-space branch.
Put . For large , and uniformly for , and , because . On the block , . Therefore . The polished-tail inequality bounds by . Each actual bias coefficient has magnitude at most one, so this bounds the remaining squared bias. Together with step 1.2 and , this proves (ii).
